A Guide to Life Insurance

A few comments I have regarding the video posted on the Globe and Mail website "A Guide to Life Insurance" 1.Term life insurance is the cheapest as you pointed out.In fact some 90% of all policies sold in Canada are 10 or 20 year term life policies. 2.You don,t need cash value policies as you can buy a Term to age 100 policy at which point most companies don,t require you to continue paying premiums. 3.Thus you don,t need to convert from a pure insurance policy to any other type of policy 4.Term life insurance is just like car or house insurance. If you did not have an accident and your house didn,t burn down last year, you don,t get a refund.Same with term insurance. If you didn,t die last year, there is no refund. 5.All this applies to at least 90% of the population.
